What would you do if you had the right information, at the right time, in the right format?

Information Management (IM) is the collection and management of information from one or more sources and the distribution of that information to one or more audiences. This sometimes involves those who have a stake in, or a right to that information.

Sharon Brown and Associates help organisations to manage and control the planning, structure and organisation, controlling, processing, evaluating and reporting of information activities in order to meet business objectives and enable corporate functions in the delivery of information.

This IM analysis is aimed at providing a complete and comprehensive plan that has included:

  • Information Management capability review and design, tailored to the client’s people, process and technology.
  • Document and Records Management.
  • Legacy systems alignment to IM strategy.
  • Information Architecture.

Trusted Information = Informed Decision

Sharon Brown & Associates recognise that most of what goes on in service organisations is actually decision making and information processes. The crucial factor in the information and decision process analysis is the limited ability of an individual to process information and to make decisions under these limitations.

By tracing ‘what we know and how we know it’ to the enterprise’s functions and processes, we contextualise the information for its intended purpose – to facilitate decision making within a framework of trusted information.
